Serves 2
Ingredients:
1/2 cup quinoa
1 cup low-fat, organic milk
3 TBS brown sugar
Pinch of salt
Berries or sliced banana
Preparation:
Rinse quinoa. Combine milk, quinoa, salt, and brown sugar to a small saucepan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add in extra liquid if needed. Serve warm with berries or banana slices.

ReplyDeleteHey!! They had Quinoa on Chopped the other day! I had never heard of it until then and now you are making it for dinner!! Where do you buy it??
ReplyDeleteYou can find it at the regular grocery store in the pasta or rice section. Its usually in a teal box. They even have a large bag at Costco!!
