A warm welcome

It is here and it is beautiful. Whole Foods just opened up downtown at Trolley Square, while there are three other locations in Utah this is the first one to be built from the ground up. If I had all the money in the world I would shop there twice per week. Yesterday, my wellness team and I went for lunch. First, we walked around and admired the beauty, cleanliness, and organization. The bulk food section...AMAZING! I know you think I am crazy. What Lululemon is to Pilates instructors, Whole Foods is to me (although Lulu is quickly becoming a favorite, again if I had all the money in the world...)
Anyway, we all had the salad bar and we all ended up with completely different boxes. That salad bar is the best!

While we were wrapping things up we noticed a few eyeing the amazing pastry cabinet. We were too. While those items are being sold at Whole Foods and many of them are vegan, that doesn't make them calorie free. One muffin is still equivalent to about four slices of bread. I think many people make that mistake. Organic/all natural/vegan doesn't mean healthy, but it can mean better quality ingredients. Even I say, "But it's organic!" Just some food for thought!
