  1. That is a great Valentine gift....hmmm a healthy packed lunch idea...well I know my little one loves fruits...any fruits...so I would cut up apples and peanut butter for a dip. I think that's healthy right?

  3. One of my favorite healthy packed lunch ideas is dried apple rings. Even my toddler loves them! They're fairly expensive at the regular grocery store, but if you have an apple tree you can make them yourself, or buy them in the bulk bins at Winco for cheap!

  5. I love your blog! I think my favorite packed lunch has got to be a simple PB&J, apple, and yogurt!

  6. Caprese on a stick. On toothpicks put mozzerella cube, cherry tomato and fresh basil. Spritz with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and salt and pepper. Fabulous! Side of fresh fruit salad and lunch is served.

  7. Some of my favorite healthy lunch ideas are: turkey lettuce wrap in a whole wheat tortilla; Whole wheat pasta salad; grapes are some of the best fruits for lunches since they don't require peeling/coring; Homemade trail mix with nuts and dried fruits; Pinwheel rounds made by flattening bread and spreading cream cheese and ham.
Packing for kids: let them help you make the lunch the night before, they'll enjoy spending time with you and learn how to make healthy food for themselves (If you're making the lunch for someone else, it never hurts to pack a note that lets them know you love them).

  10. I am too. It is a good giveaway this Valentine's day. Well, I also have found a very stunning eco-friendly food stacking container that has 100% BPA free. That means, unlike plastics with harmful chemicals included in the materials used to make it, this food stacking container that I'm referring to is really safe. Stainless steel tiffin container is an alternative to plastics and it is made of high quality stainless steels. Also, you can reuse it, carry it around without difficulty, very stylish, durable and affordable. It's sale today so this will be a great chance to avail the bento container =)

  47. I always try to come up with ways to re-purpose leftovers. Extra rice or beans go into salads or wraps. Grill an extra chicken breast for a sandwich or salad.
And I try to keep my food as "real" as possible. I would rather have one small serving of real blue cheese dressing than 8 gallons of fat-free "blue-cheezy-like-goop".

  48. A healthy lunch I would pack would include raw carrots, low fat yogurt, grapes and a low fat mozzerella string cheese stick along with a bottle of water. Thanks, ard1977@gmail dot com

  55. I would love to win this for my dad. He and my mom have started trying to eat healthier since they are getting older. He packs his lunch for work every day so he can eat things from home rather than grabbing something that isn't as good for him on the run. He takes things from their healthy dinner the night before. It also saves money which is good with him because he's a tightwad. lol.

My little one is SOOOOOO picky! But she loves beans, cheese, and nuts. So I make sure she gets plenty of these in different forms.
